Words you'll see
LeanBot uses a few words in its own way. Here is each one in plain English.
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| Account | One DarkOrbit login (username and password). LeanBot can run many at once. |
| Module | The job an account is doing right now: killing NPCs, collecting palladium, flying a gate… One at a time. See Choosing a module. |
| Config | A saved set of settings: what to kill, what to collect, when to repair, which ammo to use. Several accounts can share one. See Configs. |
| Behaviour | An extra that runs alongside the module, like buying ammo when it runs low or sending retrievers. Switch on as many as you like. See Behaviours. |
| Feature | Any module, behaviour or map layer. The Features page of a config lists them all. |
| Proxy | A different internet address for an account, so your accounts don't all come from your home connection. See Proxies. |
| Safe zone | A place the ship can't be attacked, like a base or a portal. The ship goes there to repair. |
| Ship mode | Which of the ship's two configurations (config 1 or config 2) and which drone formation to use. Separate ones for fighting, roaming and running. |
| NPC table | The list of every NPC the ship has seen, with a switch to kill it or not. See Which NPCs to kill. |
| Zones | Areas you paint on a map: where to work, and where never to go. See Zones. |
| Global configuration | One behaviour set up once and shared by all your configs. See Global configurations. |
| Schedule | A week plan saying which config each account flies at which hour. See Schedules. |
| Objective | A once-a-day job (a daily gate, daily quests) that the schedule fits in when it can. |
| Group | Two meanings. On the dashboard: a set of accounts you start and stop together. In the game: a party of pilots. |
| Streamer mode | Hides names and addresses on screen, so you can share a screenshot safely. On by default. |
| Beta | New and still being finished. It works, but expect small surprises. |
