Guide/Settings
PET, group and ship
Three small categories in every config.
PET
Under PET in your config.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enabled | Launch the PET and keep it out. |
| Gear | Which PET gear to use, like the auto-looter or guard mode. |
| Self-repair below | Switch the PET to its repair gear when its hull drops under this. |
| Repair when destroyed | Buy the PET back as soon as it's destroyed. |
| Repair cost limit | Don't repair it if the game asks more than this. |
| Relaunch after destruction | Send it out again as soon as it can. |
| Keep out on low fuel | Leave it out instead of calling it back when fuel runs out. |
| Buy fuel when empty | Buy a tank of PET fuel when it has none left. |
Rules it always follows:
- The PET is left alone during a captcha, because launching it then fails the captcha.
- If the game ignores a launch, it tries 3 more times 5 seconds apart, then every 15 seconds until it works.
- The PET box collector works in gates too (its Where setting can even limit it to galaxy gates). Only its Fly the ship to boxes option, which is off by default, waits until the current job can be interrupted.
Tip
Want the PET to collect boxes for you? Switch on the PET box collector behaviour. See Behaviours.
Group
Under Group in your config. This is the in-game group (party), not the Dashboard groups.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Accept invites | Join a group when someone invites you. |
| Only from | Only accept invites from players with these tags. None picked accepts anyone. |
| Invite | Invite players with these tags, wherever they are. |
| Leave when alone | Leave the group when everyone else has gone. |
| Block other invites | Refuse invites from anyone not on your list. |
Tags are labels you give players. Group gates like the Quarantine Zone, Hades and Lord of War use these settings: see Group gates.
Ship
Under Ship in your config.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Ship | The ship this config flies. If the account is in another ship, it flies to the nearest station where it can change ships and switches. Empty: whatever ship is active. |
| Loadout | What the ship wears: a loadout you saved on the Hangar screen. Each account wears its own loadout with that name. Empty: the game's own saved setup for that ship. |
Good to know
Because each account uses its own loadout of that name, one config can say "Loadout: farming" and every account puts on its own "farming" equipment.
