Licence and wallet

Good to know

Licences aren't checked yet. In the current version every module runs on every account. When licences are switched on, this page is how it will work. Signing in already works: it's what Community uses.

What's free

NPC Killer, Collector, Loot & Collect and Palladium are free for good, on every account.

When you first sign in on the website, you also get every module on 3 accounts for 3 days to try them. Your Discord account must be at least 30 days old; a younger one gets the trial once it's old enough. If you supported Lean Plugin (with its Discord role), you get 2 more weeks on top.

Buying

You top up a wallet on the website and spend it on what you need. There are no subscriptions and your card is never charged by itself.

  • Lifetime slots: one game account, for as long as LeanBot exists. You can move a slot to another account later.
  • Passes: a number of accounts for a number of days. A pass only renews if you switch that on, and then it's paid from your balance.

Slots and passes add up. Prices are on the home page, and you buy in your wallet. The full rules, including refunds, are in the terms.

LeanBot needs to know who you are to use your licences and Community. You link it once, and the same sign-in covers both.

  1. In LeanBot, open Account at the top and press Sign in with Discord. It shows a code like K7PQ-2M9X and a link.
  2. Open the link on any device, your PC or your phone, and sign in with Discord there.
  3. Check the code matches and press Link to your Discord name. LeanBot notices within a few seconds.
Important

Only link a LeanBot you are setting up yourself. If someone sends you a code and asks you to enter it, don't: it would let their LeanBot use your licences.

On a server with no screen, run ./leanbot link: it prints the code and the link.

Once linked

The Account screen shows who you're signed in as, your licences, and which running accounts get every module or free modules only. Refresh checks again now; Unlink this LeanBot signs it out.

Your linked PCs

Your wallet lists every linked LeanBot, when it was last seen and how many accounts it runs. Unlink one there if you stop using it or don't trust it any more.

Moving a lifetime slot

A lifetime slot belongs to the first game account you run on it. To move it: stop that account, then press Move slot in your wallet. The next account you start takes the slot. A slot can only move once in a while; the wallet shows when.

Renewing a pass

A pass ends after its days. Tick Renew from my balance when it ends on it in your wallet, and it renews itself in the last hour before it ends, at the price shown then. If your balance is too low, it isn't renewed and the switch turns itself off.
