#Starting LeanBot

#Windows says it doesn't recognise the app

Click More info, then Run anyway. This only happens the first time. Install LeanBot

#It asks me to install .NET

Click the link in the message, install what it asks for, and open LeanBot again. You only do this once.

#The window never opens

Most often another copy of LeanBot is already running and holds its port (5210). Look for its icon near the clock (it may be minimised to the tray) and use that one, or close it in Task Manager first. If that isn't it, send us the newest file from the data\crash folder.

#It asks about WebView2

Some Windows versions come without WebView2, the part that draws LeanBot's window. Press Yes to open Microsoft's download page, install it, then open LeanBot again. No runs LeanBot in your browser instead.

#The ship

#It flies around and attacks nothing

Every NPC starts switched off. Open the config, NPC killer, and switch on Kill for the NPCs you want. Which NPCs to kill

#The NPC table is empty

It fills itself with NPCs the ship has seen. Start the account and let it fly on the map for a minute, then look again.

#It doesn't collect boxes

Check the box is switched on in the Collect table, and that the module collects at all: NPC Killer never does.

#It keeps going to repair

It's being hurt more than your settings allow. Switch off the NPCs that hit hardest, use better equipment, or lower the low end of Keep health between. Staying alive

#It keeps dying

Raise the low end of Keep health between so it leaves sooner. The account's Stats tab → Deaths shows what killed it.

#It goes to the wrong map

Check Working map in General → Working area. With Return to the working map on, the ship always travels back there.

#Why did it do that?

Open the account's map and read the log in the Debug tab. It says what the bot decided and why.

#Logging in

#An account won't start because of a captcha

Press Captcha… on the account's row in Accounts and solve it there. Accounts → Captcha

#An account won't start and blames its proxy

The proxy is dead, or five other running accounts already come out at the same address. Press Check on it in Proxies. Proxies

#The sixth account won't start

At most five running accounts may share one address, your own connection included. Give the others proxies. Proxies

#An account keeps disconnecting

Someone (maybe you) is logged in to that account somewhere else, like in the game client or a browser. One account can only play in one place.

#I can't open LeanBot from my phone

Check, in this order:

1. A password is set on Access. Without one, other devices are turned away.
2. You typed http:// (not https://) and :5210 at the end.
3. Port 5210 is allowed in Windows Firewall, and in your VPS provider's firewall if it has one.
4. LeanBot is still running on the VPS. Signing out of Windows on the VPS closes it.

#Settings

#I changed a setting and nothing happened

• Is it the right config? The top of the config screen says which accounts fly it.
• Did that account get its own value? An account's own changes win over the config. The account's Config tab shows them.
• Is the setting marked planned? Then it isn't used yet.

#I can't find a setting

Type part of its name in the search box at the top left of the config screen, and choose Everything instead of Basic.
